La Citadelle Metz Mgallery Hotel, Metz

I was thrilled with my stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, complete with a separate hall area and a luxurious bathroom stocked with Clarins toiletries. The overall condition was excellent, more like a suite than a standard room. However, the room price was on the higher end. The service was exceptional, with the staff being incredibly helpful and professional. The location was ideal, situated in a quiet area within walking distance to the city center, allowing me to relax with a drink and explore Metz easily. The dining experience was fantastic, offering a wide selection and serving an outstanding breakfast. On the downside, the temperature reached 43 °C during the day I was there, making it a bit uncomfortable. The hotel facilities were modern and clean, enhancing the overall experience.

On the third floor, the hotel rooms are well laid out and pretty much have everything you would want. The rooms are lovely but on the warmer side, and there is a bit of dust around, making them not entirely clean.

I was thrilled with the large and comfortable rooms, although we were disappointed that the restaurant was fully booked. The hotel has a brilliant medieval vibe with a perfect location just a few meters away from the city center.
